About Us

Activities Assistance offers continuing education for all Activity Professionals as well as the MEPAP course for those in New York State. We provide consultations via the Internet for those needing program information to meet the needs and interests of their particular residents.

Company History

Activities Assistance has been providing continuing education to activity professionals since 1996.

Kathy Hughes, ADC is the owner and President of Activities Assistance and has been an Activity Professional since 1977.

She has over 30 years experience in the delivery of activities services to long term care residents.

She has worked in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Senior Centers and Adult Homes in Central New York.

She has consulted to facilities in New York and is currently one of three instructors of the MEPAP in the state.
